Welcome to
“Behind the Pages: Insights, reflections, and the journey of a debut author.”
To write or not to write, that is the question…
Do you, like me, find words come more easily when you write them down rather then verbalize them? If so, this next blog post is for you. It’s all about how putting your thoughts to paper can bring such a sense of clarity and peace, even if you’re the only one that will ever read your words. Writing can be such a powerful tool, and I hope it inspires you on your writing journey, too.
Ever found yourself asking these questions: when to write, how to write, or who might care about what you write? The questions can feel endless and often lack clear answers. So, what does it all mean?
Maybe it's as simple as having something on your heart that someone else might benefit from or enjoy reading—thoughts that linger in your mind and just won't go away.
The answer? Just write it! Get those ideas out of your head and onto paper, and see where they lead. Even if no one else reads it right away—or ever—perhaps the act of writing is simply for your own benefit.
There have been many times I've written something just for my eyes. Whether it's grappling with a struggle or sorting through emotions I can't quite verbalize, writing becomes my outlet. Putting pen to paper brings clarity and a sense of peace, quieting the random thoughts swirling around in my mind.
Writing gives voice to thoughts I can't quite articulate. When my hands hit the keyboard (or my pen meets the page), everything that once felt jumbled starts to flow. Releasing what's bottled up inside restores peace and clarity to my mind and heart.
I've always found it easier to write out my thoughts than to say them out loud. I'm not sure if that's a gift or a hindrance, but it's how things work for me.
In the end, writing is more than just words on a page; it's a journey into our own thoughts and feelings. Whether you share your work or keep it private, the act of writing helps to understand ourselves better. So, embrace the process, trust in your unique voice, and remember that every word we write brings us closer to clarity and peace.
Happy Writing!
The Beginning of a Dream.
Every journey, every dream we chase, begins with a first step, and this is mine: sharing the dream of writing that has been with me since childhood. My debut novel is in the works, and this space is where I’ll share glimpses into the process of writing, my inspiration, and the joys of bringing a story to life. I’d love to have you join me!
There's something exhilarating about beginnings, don't you think? Those "firsts" that signal the start of something brand new. Whether it's the first page of a book, the start of a new adventure, or even a small, quiet decision to chase a long-held dream, taking that first step into the new unknown holds an element of excitement unlike anything else. For me, that dream has always been writing. Ever since I was a little girl, scribbling stories into notebooks and pouring my heart into journals, writing has been the place where my thoughts find their voice.
Today, I'm thrilled to take another step in this journey by letting you know about my debut novel! It's still in the editing stage, but I'm so excited to invite you along for the ride. Crafting this story has been one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences of my life. It's a tale woven with suspense, hope, drama and faith - elements that reflect both the challenges and triumphs we all face. My goal is to create stories that not only entertain but also resonate deeply with readers, offering moments of reflection, inspiration, and even transformation.
As I navigate this new chapter, I'll be sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of my writing process, the lessons I've learned, and the small victories that make the journey so worthwhile. Whether you're a fellow writer, a passionate reader, or someone who loves seeing dreams unfold, I hope this space inspires and encourages you.
Stay tuned for updates on my progress and some sneak peeks into my work. Thank you for being here at the very beginning of this dream. Together, we'll turn the page and see what comes next.
